Sharon, How do you actually work as a psychic?

Sharon’s Answer
I am a ‘Clairsentient’ Psychic. The word clairsentient means ‘Clear Sensing’ and it means that I receive psychic information from my Spirit Guides in the forms of thoughts, feelings and emotions. This also includes ‘Taste’ and ‘Temperature’. In short, I sense them.

Question
Some Psychics use psychic tools like the Tarot Cards, Crystals, the Runes or a Crystal Ball. Do you use any tools like this to help you tune into your guides?

Sharon’s Answer
Yes, I use the tarot cards as my way of quieting my mind and emotions , kind of like a point of mediation so that I can hear my guides communicate.

At times when I feel like I particularly need to be clear to receive information on difficult situations that a clients maybe going through, I hold a clear quarts crystal to aid the clarity of the communication that comes through. Clear Quarts has a property of clarity and helps to give me that little extra focus where needed.

Question
When did you first realise you had a psychic ability?

Sharon’s Answer
As far as I know, I’ve always been psychic. I remember being very aware of the spirit energy around me. I would see tiny little lights flitting all over my house as a child and I always felt that I wasn’t alone, even when there wasn’t any ‘human’ person around me.

I think this is why as a child, nothing really frightened me…. well nothing that I could see anyway. I always knew that everything would be ok and no real physical harm would come to me, or to any of my family.

The only thing that really frightened me as a child was the dark but then at around the age of 6 I had an experience that even helped with that.

One night as I lay in my bed, head under the covers praying to sleep I became aware of a light shining through the bed covers. The light felt warm and calm so I decide to take a peak outside. As I slowly pulled the covers down I saw a Chef sitting silently by my bed. He was dressed in a white hat, white coat and white trousers and just sat there with a smile on his face. He didn’t look at me but I all of a sudden, felt so calm. I fell asleep quickly and after that he seemed to always be there whenever I felt afraid of the dark.

The last time I saw him I think I must have been about 8.

Question
How are you able to help people with your ‘Clairsentient’ ability?

Sharon’s Answer
With this ability I am able to pick up on the feelings of people and animals around me. I can tune right into their energy and literally feel what they are feeling and my guides allow me to understand these ‘feelings’ fully by showing me all the elements that are present in their emotions.

For example, a client came to me with issues about her boyfriend. She felt he was pulling away from her. My guides helped me to tune into his feelings and we were able to see that he did actually really love her, but there was a feeling of annoyance towards her, which really originated from fear.

Because he felt afraid to get close to her, just in case he was hurt like in his previous relationships, he ‘created’ situations that he knew would provoke a reaction in her that he could feel justifiably annoyed with and so ‘push her away’. Kind of like a sabotage. Once she was able to understand his emotions she could change her reaction to his behaviour and be more open minded at these times. She understood it was his insecurities showing through and so she was able to put his mind at rest, and handle the situation better so that at least from her side she could help the relationship to flourish.

They are still together and their relationship is thriving. There are still moments when he creates situations to push her away, but she knows not to react to them with hurt or annoyance herself now, and the situations are happening less and less, so she tells me.

Of course there are moment when relationships need to end so that each person can move on and find something better for themselves and at times like this, my guides always give the information in a compassionate and truthful way, without assigning blame. They highlight the benefits from this situation for the client and help them to see the bigger picture, which usually includes a glimpse of the positive that is fast approaching them.

Question
You mentioned your Spirit Guides. Who are they?

Sharon’s Answer
Well I work with three spirit guides. I’m not totally aware of their names as they tell me that names are not really important in spirit, as we are ultimately, all one energy. But I refer to them as Michael, Raphael and Gabriel.

The reason I call them these names is because of what each of them bring me in terms of their energies.

Michael…. I’ve called him Michael after Archangel Michael, is a strong positive energy who is for me, the one who pushes me that little bit further than I think I can go. He challenges me to be strong and empowers me to be confident in relaying the information he brings through. I always think of him as a sergeant major type because he’s the one saying, “Come on Sharon, let get going”.

In readings Michael shows up with advice and guidance for clients who may need to stand up for themselves within a certain situation.

As much as he pushes though, he always does it with an air of love and is never judgemental. He’s a real energy of strength and protection and I always feel safe when I know he is around me.

Raphael is named after Archangel Raphael who is the archangel of healing. When Raphael turns up to give guidance in a reading I know that there are deeper issues than we first see, in a clients life. These issues usually have left the client with baggage or scares from situations they have experienced in the past, which now are showing up, usually subconsciously in their current experience.

Raphael is a gentle energy who often goes to the client on the other side of the phone or sitting across the table from me and puts his hands on their shoulder to give them healing and calm their anxieties.

Whenever I see a green flash of light, I know Raphael is around me.

And Gabriel, my only female guide shows up as a brilliant blue/yellow light.

Archangel Gabriel is the archangel for communication and so it’s a very appropriate name for my third guide Gabriel as she is just amazing. I’ve only been working with her for a few months now and the insight she brings me is second to none. The way she explains a situation to me is so precise and insightful that I often am blown away as much as my clients are. She doesn’t only tell me what is going on, but she also shows me why from the perspective of the inner most feelings of the client.

All three of them make such an awesome communication team, as I call them, and it is my absolute pleasure to work with them. In addition to this, I feel humbled that they have chosen me to work with.

Question
Where would you like to take your career as a Psychic from here Sharon?

Sharon’s Answer
I’m always open to opportunities and I always feel that every situation is part of a bigger picture but if I could absolutely choose, I’d be doing this for as long as I can. This job can be so rewarding, especially when you work for a period of time with a client and watch them open up to you, deal with their issues and then find purpose in the experiences they’ve had. When a client gets to a point when they look at their lives with such love for even the bad points I know I’ve helped and that feeling is great.

In terms of it going forward from here? I’ll just leave that up to the universe and when the right opportunities present themselves, like they always do…I’ll walk through the doors. Until then, I’m enjoying each and every day that I work with my spiritual family.
